Learning about the magical world of the rainforest is so much fun in a delightful gym with music, lights, nature sounds, and lots of activities and textures to stimulate your growing baby! The activity gym’s comfy floor quilt has a soft silky border and colorful arches supported by a friendly giraffe. A variety of links let you attach toys up above or down below. Rainforest friends are everywhere baby looks. There’s a soft monkey, jingly toucan, elephant and parrot with spinning paddle. Movable and stationary activity toys encourage baby to explore the overhead gym or enjoy some tummy-time play. Baby can also enjoy a spinner with rattling beads, spinning butterflies, a shiny mirror and a crinkly leaf for peek-a-boo fun. With this activity gym you can choose four fun tunes or rainforest sounds to play for baby for up to 20 minutes. Activity gym requires Requires 3 “C” (LR14) alkaline batteries (not included). *Sorry, due to its large size this activity gym cannot be gift wrapped.

"I recently purchased the Rainforest Melodies & Lights Deluxe Gym for my granddaughter. My daughter washed it in a pillow case as directed but the backing began disintegrating the first time it was washed. I think $70 is a lot to pay for a product that literally falls apart during the first cleaning. I expected better quality from Fisher-Price."

"This activity mat has the best music of any toy I have heard so far and has so many fun features like a rattle, a mirror, a leaf that crinkles, lights that change, a teether ring, shiny butterflies that hang over head, and more. It definitely holds my daughter's attention (she's very alert and gets bored easily). It's probably my favorite purchase thus far. I would definitely recommend it for anyone with a newborn and look forward to our daughter growing and playing with it more."

Need Another One December 7, 2009
"My son ablolutely loved his! It was the only thing that he let me put him down for! We got it when he was two months old. Soon he would only use it on the rattle mode so he could control it and interact with it. The only problem is he wore that out, and I would want to use it for our next one- it should have held up for at least two kids! Plus, it has doubled in price!"

"I love this playmat. It's so bright and colorful. It has so much to entertain them with. The music plays for about 20 min and in between songs it plays rainforest sounds! It's great for them to lay on their back, stomach or even sit up and play.

"The hard plastic bars under the pad were uncomfortable for my child and she would not lay on it. She had another pad like this one with no plastic pieces under it and she loved it. We got this one hoping it would be better than that one and she had (more accesories) but she would not use this one at all. I wish I had saved my money or spent it on a toy that she would use. We laid on it as well and the plastic was very uncomfortable so we would not put her on it anymore, we did use some of the toys and made them hand-held and she did like those. So we have not used this (mat) in over 6 months. Fisher price is usually the best but not this product."

"It was worth every penny. Robby played all the time from 2 months until about 9 months. Robby took naps and learned how to self entertain with this gym. I loved the fact I could change the toyd around and add or subtract toys to keep his interest at its peak at all times. He is now walking and doing other things and does not have time to play with it but I keep it around just in case."

Fun activity gym! January 20, 2009
"We started using this gym for our daughter from about 2 months on and she loved it. It became a part of her morning routine after she woke up and got changed she would go in her gym, if she didn't she would cry. When she first started using this she wasn't really moving around a whole lot yet, but she liked watching the lights and when she started making sounds she would "talk" to the little orange monkey every time. Once she started moving more, she loved grabbing at the toys and enjoyed the setting where she had to rattle the bars or pull on a toy to make the music and lights go. She's almost a year old now and still likes playing in this, although we have added some other toys on to keep her interest."

"My daughter started using this play gym when she was about 3 months old. She loved all the toys and the lights. I loved that she finally played by herself and gave mommy 5 min to do things! She used it everyday several times a day. She is now 15 months and her baby brother is 4 months and is enjoying the gym himself everyday. I love that you can add your own toys to the bars so the kids don't get bored with the same toys, and I LOVE that you can take the bottom pad off and stick it in the washer after baby puke accidents. The bottom pad/mat has fun exciting colors and also things for the baby to explore such as the zebra's tail, and the sun rays are ribbons. So much activity for tummy time or back play. I was skeptical at first because it's pricey, but believe me it's SO worth the price!!"

Nice little play area for infants. December 11, 2008
"Our daughter enjoyed this in small doses for a few months.

A couple of the toys were a bit out of her reach, so I added a couple of the Fisher Price Link-A-Doos to extend the toys down closer to her level. She really enjoyed the music and the blinking lights made her laugh.

We never really got use out of the "rattle" feature (the music & lights start up when the sidebar is jostled). We tried it on that mode a couple times, but she never really jostled the bars enough for the music & lights to come on, so she would get bored.

It would hold her interest for about 15 minutes at a time."

"We received this as a gift when our son was born...he is now 11 months old and just recently stopped playing with it. He still plays with the rattles and mirror. From the time he was only a few months old he loved it. He stared at all of the bright colors and reached for the hanging toys. He hated belly time but this helped keep him distracted and got him lifting his head. I would recommend this to anyone!"

"I actually had registered for a different play gym, but received this one as a gift and was extremely impressed!

I absolutely love it! It has great tunes and lights and lots of toys. So many things on this mat to keep baby interested, it is a great time saver for parents! We can put baby on this mat and get some items done.

It is great to watch baby have some 'alone time' in this mat and see how she tries to reach for objects and talks to them. It is nice to be able to see try to roll over to get items and to talk and kick while watching the lights or other items hanging. I love that I can interchange the toys and move things around that my daughter prefers or to try to get her to reach for them.

Really a great product and I would buy over and over again. Great job Fisher Price!"

"The Rainforest Gym was one of the best gifts our baby received. The colors are wonderful, it has lights that blink with the music and there are many fun/creative ways for parents to play along with their babies. The batteries are a little tough to install in the giraffe, but completely hidden from children (worth the extra effort). One of the toys had a manufacturing defect and Fisher-Price provided the best customer service assistance for quick replacement, I was truly impressed and will buy more of their toys for our baby."

"I received this item from the girls at work and was not sure if my son would like it - He LOVES it - he kicks the crinkle leaf and grabs at the hanging animals which are secure and don't easily come off so they don't hit him when he pulls. The two volumn levels are wonderful and the lights are not too bright. My favorite thing is that the mat is washable, just put it in a pillow case and throw it in your washing machine - it is a Great Sanity Saver!!"

"My four month old has loved this toy! He started to get interested in it at two months but wasn't able to play with it on his own until three months. The toys are colorful and great for development. I love the choice of music and sounds (it's not annoying unlike most toys). What I don't like is that one of the suspended arms (rainbow side opposite of the giraff) comes out fairly easy so if my baby rolls over into it, it falls out. But that is my only complaint. All of the positives FAR outway that one thing. Definitly worth the price!"

"We bought this gym for our daughter when she was about 2 weeks old. It has interested her since day 1 with all the lights, music, and colors. We originally used links to drop the rainforest animals to about eye level, and turned a fan on low to make the butterflies "fly".At 6 months old she is still all over her gym, except now she pulls at the animals and butterflies.This gym can take a beating for sure! I highly recommend this gym for anyone interested in quality and entertainment for your little one."
