"We got this at our twins baby shower. I almost returned it since we had full size swing and friends said I only neded one. So glad I didn't, my twins still love to swing. Spent many hours with both kids in swings. Uses a lot of batteries, plug would be nice. When baby gets close to upper weight limit doesn't swing as well, and mobile is often in they way even when swung aside. Even with these things I wouldn't have survived my twins 1st year without this."

"We love the Rainforest Collection (except for the highchair) and own almost everything...this swing included. We love it so much, we own three (we have twins...lol)!!

It's great for Grandma's house...my twins have two there and Grandma absolutely loves that it is so easily stored. The babies love it, like they love all their Rainforest stuff :o)"

Great for tight spaces July 12, 2009
"This was given to us as a shower gift. We didn't have space for a big swing in our little apartment. This worked out perfect and folds up nicely for storage!! It was very effective and kept our son happy!!"

"All i can say is im so so happy with this. I can finally get my baby to sleep without having to feed him first. Its so good... he just nods off whilst its swinging.
Cons: can be quite noisy when it swings. Would be so much better if there was flashing lights underneath the leaf that swings out.. that way it would entertain him more."

"My mom gave this to us for the birth of our second. We had a swing, but it was too upright to use for an infant. We got this one because he was more reclined and so his head wouldn't flop around when he was swinging. He loved it and it would put him to sleep when he was a newborn. Now he's older and loves to look at the animals on the mobile and likes the faster speeds. The batteries seem to last a long time as well. The music seems to help when he's fussy. A very good buy and wonderful gift."

"The swing was nice but the music is a bit loud. I also think it was a bit fast. I was afraid my son was going to fall out. It is not suitable for bigger babies. My son is 20 pounds at 6-months old and he doesn't fit in it very well now."

Good Choice for a Take Along Swing November 12, 2008
"We received this swing as a gift. This swing was great for my son as a newborn. But he grew very quickly and we found that the heavier he got the more quickly we went through the batteries. Although we never 'took-it-along' on any of our trips. It is very convenient and folds easily. It has music and a mobile you can flip in and out for baby's viewing. We also had the full size Rainforest Swing which we used a bit more but it is also more money."

Not For Travel or Everyday Use October 28, 2008
"Most of the time my daughter falls asleep when we put her in it. I, myself do not like the way she sits in it, the way the seat is shaped. No matter what position we put her in it seems like her head rests on her chest.
It also shows on the box a lady carrying it like it is so simple. It isn't! It's not a good travel swing.
The swing does not swing all the time, you have to give it a push sometimes. You also have to make sure the legs are pulled out completely if you move it at all or it clicks, shakes and does not swing correctly.
I would only recommend this to someone if they were using it at home and only occasionally."

"My son was very difficult to soothe to sleep, but this swing worked very well. He took many a nap in this swing. I liked that it was quiet and rocked gently and obviously he liked that, too. I wish they made these for older kids who could sit up on their own!"

"We bought this because we live at the beach. We figured it would be good to put her in under the unbrella, but we were wrong.

First off, It is bulky, and not as easy to carry as the chick on the box makes it seem. Next, it wouldnt swing sometimes,, i had to pull out on the legs hard in order to get it to swing. It didnt swing enough to keep our daughters attention. I wouldnt buy another."

Pretty good for minimal use October 8, 2008
"I am a Rainforest addict and have everything in the set so I got this in addition to the full swing for traveling. Well the picture on the box is very misleading. When you fold it up it is still pretty darn bulky and you need 2 hands to carry it, so the women photographed would be dragging the swing if she were to carry it and a baby. It works well and is easy to use, but it seems a little shakey so I don't think I would reccomend it for every day use but the big swing is great for that. As for light use and traveling other then being bulky it is pretty good."

Like it, but not for our baby... October 8, 2008
"We bought this because our daughter had other Rainforest products that we loved. However, the swing was not fast enough to keep her interest or to soothe her. It does offer different speeds and we liked the fact that we could plug it in, instead of purchasing new batteried on a bi-weekly basis! The swing is very cute and colorful as well. Too bad, that it just did not interest our baby. We ended up exchanging it for one that suited her interests better."

"I absolutely loved this swing. It was very easy to fold up and take with us, and we did a lot of visiting. I didn't like how the palm leaf canopy can't be removed, but once I got use to it I didn't mind so much. The different speeds were great and the music lulled my colicky baby right to sleep. My only problem with this product is that by the time my child was around 5 months old or so the green brackets that look like leaves that hold the seat to the frame of the swing broke and I had to throw the product away. I will, however, buy another of these swings if I need one for baby number three because of how satisfied I was with it until it broke."

"I really liked the idea of this take-along swing, however I do not like how low the swing is to the ground. Its just another thing to bend over for! I wish it had an optional plug. My son did not like the animals swinging over his head, good thing you can take them off. I like the speed settings and the music is ok too."

BIG HELP WHILE BABY IS SMALL October 7, 2008
"THIS SWING REALLY HELPED ME WHEN MY BABY WAS LITTLE. HE WAS SO COMFORTABLE IN IT THAT HE WOULD FALL ASLEEP IN IT. MY BABY HAD REFLUX AND IT WOULD HELP HIM QUITE A BIT BECAUSE HE NEEDED TO SLEEP IN A LITTLE BIT OF AN INCLINE. AS HE GOT OLDER, HE ENJOYED IT WHEN HE WAS TIRED AND JUST WANTED TO RELAX.
