Nice gift from grandparents
December 27, 2012
"My parents got this for my almost-4-year-old son for Christmas. It is durable and has lots of detail to hold his interest. My only drawback is that the sound effects are on the loud side with no volume options. He's had a little trouble opening the solar panels but I think that will get easier as his coordination improves."

Needs Female Astronaut Figures
December 4, 2012
"I just bought this product online for my 6 year old daughter and am disappointed that neither astronaut is female. I would hate to return it because I think my daughter would enjoy playing with space toys (we visited NASA last spring) but I don't want her thinking that only boys get to be astronauts. I read her books about famous female astronauts but toys seem to have more of an impact on what her thinking is when it comes to what boys and girls can do. Please remember that girls love space too and have just as big of dreams as boys. It is 2012, it shouldn't be so hard to get more diversity into our toys."

Lots of Possibilities!!
March 4, 2011
"My boys love this rocket! The variety of sounds and ways to play with it seem to be endless. They combine this and use all of the Imaginext people to fly them all around the house. This is another great toy from Fisher Price."

Great Toy!
August 16, 2010
"My grandson (2 1/2 yrs) played with this rocket for two straight days before taking a little break. LOL He loves the fact that the astronauts can sit in the cockpit and the cargo area can carry some of his other figurine 'friends' into outer space. He enjoys counting down from 10-1 with the beeps to blastoff. The realistic sounds are great and the wings popping out is an added bonus. The elevator works pretty well but I think because of his age it is a little difficult for him to squarely place the astronaut in the little foot holes to keep him upright in order to take him to the top of the launch pad. Know that this rocket is large and takes two hands to blast off and fly through the air."

Shuttle Blastoff!!
July 1, 2009
"WOW!! A very cool item. Picked this up along w/ several of the smaller add-ons for my son's birthday and he was blown away. Pieces are easy to handle and is child friendly to assemble the figures accessories. We spent hours playing together along w/ his twin sister who was very upset that there was no female astronaut. Other than that, an amazing toy w/ huge potential for years of play. Except for at 6:00 in the morning. Other than the time, the light and sound effects were great. It caught him by suprise at how to "Engage" everything. Trekie, sorry. He even named the shuttle Enterprise.
Would like to see other ships along the same genre and more aliens. Friends and Foes alike! Perhaps large bases or space stations. Looking foward to other items to add to the collection.
