"My son loves this toy, especially when he discovered the microphone. He really has to put his mouth right to it, but he likes to make his voice louder. He enjoys some of the toys that are part of the collection (we bought the additional instruments). The tambourine doesn't hold his interest at all, probably b/c it doesn't make any noise and the trumpet doesn't either. I really wish that the songs that play would actually end instead of fading away to silence in the middle of the song. He can't learn the songs like that...Other than those negatives. I really like how the microphone can go up for my son to use it while standing and can also lower so he can use it while sitting."

"We got this for our twin boys (age 10 months) at Christmas. They love to sit and play with it. The lights, songs, and instruments make them dance and move. Our 2 1/2 year old likes to sit on the floor with them and show them how to use it. We have had a lot of fun with this toy in a short time!"

"Love this toy!! So do my 6 month old son & 2.5 year old daughter!! So glad I read the customer reviews below, as I was having the same problem with only partial songs playing, tried changing the batteries, no luck! I read the reviews & went & tightened the screws in the legs as tight as they would go & wa-laa!! It plays the whole song!! Awesome toy! Definitely recommended! THey should put that bit about the demo switch in the instructions!!"

"My son loves sing into a microphone and I thought this would be a perfect gift for him for Christmas. I was merely disappointed when the song would start ,it would fade out as soon as it came on. my son taps on the mic to see if it would work after the song goes off and it don'tt so he just walks pass it everyday and plays with his other toys. not worth it don't waste your money or your children time."

"Cute toy! Love the lights, music and overall look of the toy. At first I couldn't get the toy to play the entire songs and called Customer Service. Apparently leg #2 in the front needs to be screwed in a certain way so the black switch changes from "try me" mode to full play. This is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions and was frustrating to me until I called. As mentioned in other reviews the microphone isn't great and in my opinion Fisher Price should do better. Last thing, I feel that when the songs are playing and the child "adds music" from the piano, guitar or drum I didn't expect the song to pause rather I thought my child's "music" would be added to the song. Definitely fun for the 6-22 month age range!"

"This toy is *almost* awesome. Ours didn't come with screws for the feet, the microphone is not very functional and and while it was playing full songs at first, it has since gone into a demo-mode like version. I have replaced the batteries but that didn't fix it. In any case, my daughter likes the toy as it is. Although I wish I knew how to get the songs to play all the way through again..."

"Bought this for my 10months daughter for Christmas, dissapointed as the sing-along is only partial songs, also the microphone did not response to baby's voice as it said on the box. When pushed button to the different settings the same partial songs came on, states on instruction leaflet that it would be different musical phrases. Have bought other Fisher Price toys which have been fantastic, disppointed with this product, does not do what it says on the box."

""Santa" got this for our 10 month old. It is great! Unlike a previous reviewer, I love the fact that music isn't loud. My son can be playing with it across the room and I can still hear the tv, unlike some of his other musical toys. Although my son is a bit young for the toy I can see this toy being used for years to come!! A side note, ours didnt come with the screws to stablize the base but we used some screws we had in the garage."

"My daughter received this toy for her first birthday (per my suggestion to the family member). Excited, I opened the box immediately. Though bright and colorful, the "jammin" band only jams to partial songs. It sounds as if it is in a quiet demonstration mode; the volume is very quiet in comparison to other toys. In addition, the microphone only works if the user's mouth is directly on the microphone. This product is extremely disappointing."

"We bought this for our 1 year old daughter because our 3 year old has a "big girl" microphone. So far both kids, ages 1 & 3, love this toy. Lots of buttons and music. The stand even adjusts to make it taller or shorter."
