"My baby girl started using this play mat at only one week old. The first few times she just stared up at the hanging items and was alert and quiet during this time. After a couple of times this way, I placed her near enough to the keyboard that she would inevitably kick it herself. After a few days, I think she understands that she is causing the music to start. At two weeks old, she is hitting the hanging objects, kicking the piano, smiling, making happy sounds and yelling gleefully. We never get her to make these happy shouts with any other activity, and what great exercise for her! She is entertained for 20-30 minutes at a time!"

Best Play Mat Ever!

"My grandson is nine weeks old and it took him a "little minute" to warm up to all the brightness and sound that this play mat offers; but warm up he did. He spends about 20 minutes at a time entertained and if you pick him up too soon he actually has a "put me back" sound he makes. He whams the piano keys with his feet and has a rhythm going whereby the music never stops. He loves to coo at the "other baby in the mirror" and he whams the blue elephant and green frog w/ the two coins at the same time. It's a one man band kind of a good time.

"I loved this for my son. We bought it for him before he was even born. When he was a newborn he would just look at the toys and in the mirror. When he got a little older, he started grabbing at the toys. He loved kicking the piano since he likes music. He will crawl in his room now and just play for hours."

"We originally purchased a different Fisher Price playmat, but it really did not keep his interest so we got the Kick & Play Piano. He absolutely loved it. The piano keeps his kicking going and the hanging toys were larger than the other playmat, plus the mirror was right in the center. He is 8 1/2 months now and he still enjoys all the activities."

"My baby has loved this ever since we got it for her when she was 2 months old. The noise of the piano is not annoying and can be turned down if you are on the phone. Baby loves to kick at the piano and bat at the toys. Great for helping develop neck and back muscles when baby is doing "tummy time". My babe has played for hours upon hours (2 1/2 months) and I have not had to change the batteries once! One of the few toys out there that I do not feel guilty for setting my child down to play/distract her so I can eat and have a little of me time while watching her enjoy it!"

"My son turned 2 months old 2 days ago and has been playing on the Piano Gym for over 2 weeks now! I wish I would have gotten this sooner! As a stay-at-home mom I'm alone with my son majority of the day... I have to potty at some point and when "nature calls" my son isn't always asleep. Turns out my son does not like to swing--there goes that savior that so many other moms recommended, so I took the swing back and one of the things I got instead was the Piano Gym, it is absolutely amazing! I can not tell you how thankful I am for this toy, my son has so much fun playing with it that we use it at least 3 times every day for 30 minute intervals, literally. I can now run to the potty without hearing my son cry because I left him in the awful contraption of a swing that we used to have! I can't wait to continue playing with my son with this toy because it is so amazing it grows with your child! If you are wondering if you should purchase this, you should! Would make a great baby shower/Christmas gift! Thanks Fisher-Price!"

"I purchased this for my 2 month old for Christmas. I wasn't sure if she was to young but when she received it Christmas morning we tried it out. She loved it! She sat under it for 2 hours! Totally worth the purchase!"

"My daughter loves this toy! She loves the mirror that hangs above her so she can see herself, she is always smiling at the baby. She also kicks non stop so having the piano that plays music when she kicks is great as well. She also is now starting to play with the other toys as she is learning cause and affect that if she swings at it they will move. So happy we bought it....so worth the money!!!"

"I bought this for my son when he was 2 1/2 months old. He loves it! He will lie on his back swinging at the toys for at least 30 minutes at a time. He loves looking at himself in the mirror as well. This has to be the best purchase I have made so far. Nothing holds his attention like the Piano Gym. The only con about it is that the mat he lays on is kind of thin."
