...a prehistoric world with a futuristic twist! It’s a world where dinosaurs wear gear and work with humans to mine volcanium, an element needed to power their dino camp. The figure fits inside the control station of the Raptor’s gear. There’s also a moveable claw for grabbing action. Or, for classic dino play, kids can remove the gear. It’s a world of action & excitement where you decide what happens next!

"My son likes the dinosaurs. This dino is a good size for him but it is not easy to get it to stand with the accessory and rider on it. So my son usually plays with this one without accessories or it is eatin by the T-Rex a lot."

"My only complaint with the toy itself is that the harness doesn't snap on, and can slip off during play. This isn't as noticeable as it is with the pterodactyl because the Raptor's posture is horizontal.
My main problem isn't with the toy as much as the concept behind it. The Raptor is the only other "bad guy" dino other than the T-Rex, and for a "bad guy" he seems REALLY under-equipped. Look at the other dinosaurs, and they have pick-axes, missile launchers, guns, etc. However the Raptor has ... a little claw-ting in the front of him. I mean, what is he supposed to do with it anyway? His mouth and claws have more reach than the little claw-thing. Are the Raptors supposed to be part of a wagon-train or something? I honestly don't see the point of the little claw, and the Raptor has no other weapons aside from his natural teeth and claws. Although a Raptor is deadly on it's own, it's seems out of place for a "bad guy" not to augment the Raptor with SOMETHING. I mean look at the T-Rex. It is covered with weapons."

"If I had to recommend any toy to a friend it would be any imaginext, but this one hold's kid's attention more. My little brother got one for Christmas and can't be any more addicted! Every five seconds he says, "Let's play Velcoraptor!" They are built well and durable, they are fun for the whole family!"
