"We got this trike because my 2 year old daughter was too big for the Radio Flyer scooter and we saw an old Big Wheel at the park which she "borrowed" for a long time from another child.
It took my husband about 30 minutes to set up. My daughter loved the flashing lights and music. Personally, I have dreams of my daughter being bi-lingual some day, so I love that Dora says things in English and Spanish (it won't make her fluent - but the exposure is good).
My daughter also liked the basket to carry her baby in.
We set the seat at the medium level at first just so my daughter could reach the handle bars and the ground with her feet. This trike is what we intended to teach her peddling on. By about 2.5 - 2.75 years of age, she was peddling wonderfully and we moved up the seat so her legs would reach the peddles. Now she is 3 and at the medium seat again, but this time to peddle.
We also now have a son (just turned one) and he is a really good walker and climber for his age. He loves to climb on and off of the trike and push the buttons. We have no fears of him tipping it over as it is a pretty sturdy trike.
Overall, we are very pleased with this purchase."

"I just bought the Dora trike for my 2 year old and it took 2 hours to put together. The product seems like it was cheaply made, and to sell it for $45.00 is crazy. This product did NOT come with instructions at all, and when i looked online, there was just the basic info. I had nothing to help me put this together. I have to say this was the most frustrating product i have ever delt with. I will not recommend this to anyone at all. This is the worst thing i spent my money on! Also, this product is for ages 2-6... After going through the crazy, pointless, direction lacking process, my 2 year old cannot even touch the pedals! It needs to be for 3 and up ages. So as far as my review goes, i give this product a 1 out of 10... and only because the stickers that came with it are cute!!!"
