On your mark, get set…crash! Or race, whichever your little driver thinks is more fun! Turn on the ignition to “start” the engines (just like in a real car!), then get ready for figure-8 turns, gears shifting, cars crashing—drivers may even head right off the track! Now, ladies and gentlemen, this is REAL racing excitement! Elevated lift in the “pit” area goes up and down. Raceway includes two race cars and two articulated driver figures, four flags and a trophy. Requires 4 C batteries.

Everything he hoped for January 24, 2010
"Our 5-year-old son has been asking for this toy for 2 years. He finally got it for Christmas this year. It's everything he hoped and more! Not only does he like playing with the Little People cars on it, but he also likes putting other matchbox-size cars on it. Our 3- and 2-year-old daughters also like playing with it. All around winner!"

"For my son's 1st birthday my aunt bought the Spin and Crash Raceway!!! Although it said for 2 and up,I knew my son could handle it!! At 34 lbs and 34 inches tall hes a big boy!! I searched online for a idea and knew this would be the perfect toy!! I have 9 and 6 year old girls, so I wanted a toy that screamed boy toy!! Kaleb loves to try and catch the cars as they go spinning by, but in the last week he has been turning it on by hisself and lettting them race around!!! He love the pull down lever!! I would recommend this for any little boy or girl who loves to watch nascar or spinning cars!!!"

Great the second time around January 8, 2010
"My 2 year old son received this toy as a Christmas gift. Everything worked except the track did not move (the best part). I got online and noticed the reviews and thought we were in trouble. I called the Fisher Price customer service line and they sent us a new one. They didn't need the receipt and we didn't have to send the old one back! Talk about great service. He has been paying with it non stop. It is loud but hey it's a toy that races cars and crashes them so you have to expect that."

Stand behind their product March 17, 2009
"My son received the Spin N' Crash Roadway as a gift. He played with it for about a half an hour straight and had a great time. Then one of the turntables broke and it stopped working properly. I called customer service on Tuesday and they are going to replace the unit. I am sad that I have to ship it back but happy to hear that Fisher Price will replace the toy my son loved so much."

"I bought this for my 2 year old for Christmas. He loved it the first 5 times he played with it. I can't say if he likes it anymore because it doesn't work anymore. I've tried replacing batteries twice and now it is going in the garbage can!"

We love this toy! January 25, 2009
"My younger son got this for Christmas and it has been by far the favorite toy. My boys are 3 and 1 1/2 and they both love this. The cars aren't meant to race side by side (as one reviewer said) - they're supposed to go around and crash into each other. Every time we have a playdate, this is the toy that everyone wants to play with. They put other cars in it and love to watch things spin around. We haven't had any quality problems with it and we've been using it continually for a month now. Highly recommend it!!"

Fun while it lasted January 18, 2009
"We bought this toy for my two year old for Christmas this past year. It was his "big" present. My seven year old and I assembled it easily and even he enjoyed playing with it . Christmas morning my two year old played with the raceway for about 20 minutes before one of the turntables stopped spinning. I changed batteries and even looked under the turntable to see if something was unconnected. We were disappointed it didn't work but even more disappointed the store we bought it at has not and is not restocking it. My two year old loves his little people especially the videos. Where can we find this toy and will it be better constructed?"

Poor Design January 13, 2009
"Santa bought this for my 2 year old son who loves cars. We opened it up and it looked great and best of all everything had a space for when it came to storage at the end of play time. It was looking great so far. HOWEVER when the batteries were inserted and it came to start the ignition nothing happened. Checking to see that the batteries were indeed in correctly (they were) we tried again. This time the turn tables started but stopped a moment after so I thought at first it must have a timed race. We switched it on again, same thing and then only one turn table would work. Even when it was working for a few moments it was less than ideal. The cars seem too big for the track. They can't race side by side and would often just slide a bit and get stuck across the track. Of course my son solved that as he found some smaller cars which worked really well. When the track would work that is.
Anyway after a week of frustration with this toy which ended up with it not working at all I have had to return it. I am at a loss as to what to do now as my son loved it and of course Santa brought it. If it has vanished for ever my five year old who also liked it will have a few questions for me regarding Santa and my 2 year old has already been asking where the race cars have gone?
I expect I shall have to bite the bullet, bear with it and buy another whether it ends up working or not. I am so dissappointed, the idea is great but the design/quality lousy. Having a house pretty much full of Fisher Price toys I have to say I am suprised that these faults got by initial quality control during pre sale testing."

Disappointing January 11, 2009
"My son got this toy for Christmas and loved it because of the noises and he could control the speed but it broke in a few days and we not fixable because of the cheaply made gears. This toy is not worth the money."

Poor Quality December 28, 2008
"My 18 month old son got this gift for Christmas from Santa and loved it, but it only lasted 2 days. Worked fine the first day but then the platforms stopped spinning and I put in new batteries but still didn't work so returned to store. Now am trying to find a toy he will enjoy as much with better quality. For a Fisher Price product I was very disappointed."

Christmas Morning Disappointment December 27, 2008
"My 3 year old received this toy from his grandparents. He loved it for about 4 hours- played with it non-stop until the motor went out. Then the tears turned on. What a shame this toy wasn't built tough enough for basic play. I am usually completely satisfied with Fisher Price product, but this one should have never made it out of the factory."

"My son received this for Christmas and absolutely loved it untilit quit working. The wheels would quit spinning after about 5 seconds and became worthless. Don't bother buying it~~"

"I purchsed this toy for Christmas and for the first 20 minutes it worked great and he LOVED IT!!!! Then it just stopped!!
I thought i put in old batteries so i put in brand new batteries. Still doesnt work.
Its a shame as he just loves the cars racing around. Something should be done with this toy........like testing it for more than 20 minutes!!!
Very disappointed Child!!"

"Quite honestly, this was a very nice toy while it lasted; about 6 hours. My son loved it and couldn't walk away, but the wheels quit spinning and all it makes are the noises. I've changed the batteries several times and narrowed the problem to a very inferior internal motor that quits almost immediately after start up. Since I am a design engineer by profession, I would have to say that this one was rushed through the R and D process and they didn't test it extensively. If they they did test for a while, they did a poor job at finding a motor vendor."

Very poor quality December 22, 2008
"My son, who is 2, received this for his birthday. He absolutely loved it. But the cars never followed the track, kept getting jambed up. Worked pretty well with a car he got in a kids meal.
Then after 1 week of playing with it, it just up and quit working. Tried changing the batteries. The sounds all work (even when no one is near it) but the spinner only spins for afew seconds and stopped.
I just wish this toy was of better quality for toddler use."

"Received as a gift for my 2yr old. He loved it & even mom & dad were able to play too. After 2 DAYS, it wouldn't spin right away and the crash button and gear shifter had no sound. I had to turn off/on and then it would work, then stop, then work. Finally changed the batteries ONE WEEK later, worked great again, then stopped, then worked. 4 DAYS after 2 battery changes (not cheap, takes like 4 C batteries), it stopped completely. And yes, the little plastic flags do fall off, they will NOT stay, so we're already missing some. Should have just tooke the gift receipt and got something else."

Great Toy September 30, 2008
"I bought this toy for a two year old birthday gift. We had reviewed the toy on the website and he fell in love with the toy. It was easy to put together, and had no longer touched the floor when it was put to full use. He loves it more in person. The only problem we have had has been the four flags. They will not stay in place and have been a source of frustration. I finally just chucked them in a drawer and he has not missed them at all."
