Surprizingly Disappointed

"I love the Little People products and have bought many of them for my children. However, I have been disappointed in the princess castle. The flags and stairs tend to pop off very easily and the stairs don't fold up into the main building for storage. The castle also doesn't stay securely closed very well which makes it difficult to move from one place to another. My daughter still loves playing princess with it but I don't know that I would make the purchase again knowing what I do now."

"This was a christmas present for my 3 year old from Santa... She says santa done a very good job... she loves it, only downfall i can find is the flags on the top dont stay in place but that is no big deal at all.... over all she completely loves it......"

"Bought this for Christmas for my 3 yr. old granddaughter. The set is very sturdy, well made and the characters are very cute. Unfortunately, my granddaughter became quickly bored with this set. She loves to play with "princess" toys, but this just did not hold her interest. However, I would still recommend this toy, but maybe for a younger child. Sorry--Fisher Price toys are usually a big hit around our house."

"My 3 yr old got this for Christmas and likes it so much she doesn't want to let anyone else play with her! My 2 yr old son tries to play with her and she doesn't seem to like him bothering her in "her world". I love that it teaches her organizing, only her princess stuff gets stored inside and is always waiting there for her as long as she picks it up. The one downside is that once closed it doesn't latch very securely so sometimes everything comes toppling out in transport."

"I bought this a year ago and it's still my 4 year old's favorite. It's held together very well for what a child can put a toy through. I haven't even had to change the batteries yet. I only wish they had more accessories to go with it. I would have bought them. I bought this last year at this time for her birthday, this year it will be hard to find something she likes this much."

"We bought the palace for our 3 yr. old. It really wakes up the imagination and keeps her interest. Only thing I wish were better is the volume. At highest setting the sound is quite faint even in a rather quiet setting. Anyone else think so? Other then that ,quite cute."

"My daughter received this at her 2nd birthday. She loves it! She plays with all of her little people--prince, princess, wand, horse, horse brush, table, chairs, candle stick, vanity chair and everything. Everything is very well made. The best part is that all the toys store inside the castle which folds in half for easy storage. Since my she has a sister who is 18 moths hold now I don't have to worry about the toys breaking apart because this is a durable and fun princess toy for both girlies.. An excellent Princess toy for your princess girls to play with and be safe."

"My daughter received this as a birthday gift from my brother - she loves it! She plays with all of her little people toys for hours and has so much fun. This particular set comes with prince and princess, horse, horse "food", horse halter, horse brush, table, 2 chairs, wand, candle stick, vanity chair and so much more! Everything is SO DURABLE! I just can't begin to tell you how durable these products are. Another great thing about it is that all of the pieces store inside the castle which folds in half for easy storage (which is great because we have a small house!). All of the sounds are so much fun as well! Additional royal playsets can be purchased as well for even more princess-themed play! Just can't say enough good things about this product!"

"My almost 3 year old received this for Christmas. She has played with it and it additional pieces (carriage, tea party, etc.) several times throughout the day. She has made many elaborate stories, great for the imagination!
The one con is that it does not close very well. The palace itself does not connect shut as other Fisher Price sets do, but no big deal. She constantly has it open anyway!"

"I recently purchased for my granddaughters birthday - she turned 4. She loves playing with and so do her other friends who are 5 and 6. After school they love to sit and play - even the boys. I love the way it's made. I just wished it hooked together and would hold all the pieces inside - i just for now store in a small storage box - but that would have been great. I also find the flags don't stay in place - but that's ok - they love the rest of the play items. A few more accessories would be nice- dishes, etc."

"I have a 2 and a 4 year old this was a birthday present for them, I like the extra things that come with the castle my 2 year old love this toy, she love the stairs the most.
What I did not like was it could have been made a bit better, the other pink castle opened up on both sides and stayed together but this one I find usually in 2 different room because it can't seem to stay together. :( but over all my girls really like it and play with it a lot.
Also you can't join the popular fences and gates (linking little people out door things) to it like the other little people stuff. My 2yr old also loves all the little people linking gates and fences she hoards these."

"All four of my children love this toy (boys and girls ages 4,4,2,&1) My oldest son likes to pretend to be the prince protecting the princess from monsters, my girls like to play "tea party" and my youngest son holds them easily in his hand and walks the figures up and down the stairs. Great for pretending. Only flaw is that the flags and top tower don't stay in their holes, but that's not a huge deal. Overall, hours of imagination play for a very good price."
