Very Funny but...
January 14, 2013
"We bought this toy as a xmas present this year for my 5yo daughter and she is in love with it, it's very easy to use, and she is really interested in recording every thing she does, the only downside it's that the image it's too dark unless we are outdoors, and the resolution of the recorded videos it's too low, and in the manual doesn't say what's the largest SD card that can be supported so the quality of the videos can be improved (from 320 x 240 to 640x480 according to the manual)"

The SD card for your Kid-Tough® Video Camera should be at least 1GB and not exceed 32GB.

I'm surprised!

"This camera is still working fine and it's on it's third child. It's been lost and found numerous times, kicked and fought over and still works like it just came out of the box! I'm very happy with this product and would gladly recommend it to any parent."

Wonderfully fun video camera
June 16, 2011
"We bought this for our 3 year-old daughter, and she loves using it! The buttons are large and easy to press. The handles allow little hands to hold on tightly. She records everything in the house, even the dog. She even asked to take it with her to nap! We recommend it to anyone with an older toddler/preschooler."

The camera erase everything in my SD card
March 14, 2011
"I found my little boy really love to record video with it. So I try to put my own SD card into the camera so that he can record more videos. After I test recording a video and connecting to PC. I can't find my SD card.....Oh, my SD card was being formatted with the SD card Volume label changed.
That's terrible. I can't believe the machine format my SD card without warning me. Now I lost all my photos.
So please buy a new SD card or backup everything before plug it into the camera."

We’re sorry to hear about your frustrating experience. You’re right – you do need to use only a new or clean SD card in the Kid-Tough® Video Camera. Once you insert the SD card, whatever files were on it will be erased (including photos). This is intentional, to protect the video camera from a virus or malware, and to protect your PC.

Once you have used a SD card in the video camera, and put that same SD card back into the device at a later time, you will not lose what was recorded previously from our video camera. To avoid mix-ups and disappointments, it’s best to reserve a particular SD card for use only in the video camera.

We’re really sorry you lost your photos, and we appreciate your review – we’ll be changing our instruction sheets for the video camera so it’s very clear consumers need to use a clean SD card. If you want to talk about this further, please call our consumer relations reps at 1-888-892-6123.
